Pensions: What you need to know

We know it can be tricky to take time to think about your future when there are so many other things competing for your attention, but it’s important to be prepared and make sure that you’re planning ahead for your retirement.

In this session we will look to break it down into simple terms and provide some information that might help you plan ahead. What we’ll cover:

• An overview of retirement planning

• Why it’s important to have a pension

• How does a pension scheme work?

• How much do you need to save for your retirement?

• Different ways of taking your pension

Afterwards, there will be plenty of time to ask any questions you may have.

There will also be a Schroders Personal Wealth Advisor on hand to provide you with more information about Schroders Personal Wealth and to answer any further questions you may have. This could be in savings, investments and/or personal pensions, and/or £100,000 in sole annual income.
